The Sloth Encounter Tour is a fun and interactive hiking tour to meet sloths and learn all about their physiology and behavior in their natural habitat – free and wild. This tour will also give you the chance to experience the lush tropical rainforest of Costa Rica and meet the biggest waterfall in Guanacaste on the way back. This eco-tourism project is set on a protected area including coffee plantations, located in the northern beautiful rain forests of Costa Rica. In addition, this park counts with butterfly garden and laboratory to reproduce rare butterflies and frogs to then release them back into their natural habitats.
