At the Colorado River White Water Rafting tour you’ll enjoy a great variety of wildlife and breathtaking views in the area as you go whitewater rafting down of the beautiful Colorado River, locataed at the slopes of the Rincon de la Vieja Volcano. The Class l and Class ll rapids will give you a memorable day with its many exciting twists and turns. The tour guides will start off by explaining the rules of the river to ensure the safest ride for everyone, they will pass out high-quality helmets, paddles, and lifejackets before helping you hop into an inflatable raft, (this tour is suitable for families with young kids). Sitting at the edge of the river, the boat will be pushed offshore and sent down the river currents where the fun begins. Depending on your skills and the condition of the river, you may have a personal guide riding with you on the raft, or in a separate raft showing you how to navigate the rushing rapids. The rafting trip is approximate 3 kilometers (1.9 miles), which usually take a little over an hour. (Suitable for kids).
