Vista Bahia Beach Resort is located 25 minutes from Liberia (Daniel Oduber International Airport). Our hotel is located on the shores of a protected and quiet bay, part of the Gulf of Papagayo. Here, life evolves at a much slower pace.
Although it is mostly perched on a high cliff overlooking Culebra Bay, access to a private beach is just a short walk away. Also very close to Panama Beach walk from the hotel.
We have 32 en-suite bedrooms and two private villas, with a full restaurant, bar, and pool. From there, our guests can book a variety of adventure tours in the surrounding rainforests, smoking volcanoes and the deep blue of the Pacific.

Beaches
The Gulf of Papagayo is a jewel of Costa Rica with still pristine beaches and the calm waters of the Pacific. The earth was carved by plate tectonics that led the Pacific plate under the Coco plate (named after our small local community) who created the four volcanoes within 45 minutes of our hotel. These lands were pastures until the Costa Rican government obtained vast tracts of land to develop this natural tourist destination. Therefore, the establishment of Liberia Airport and the tourist development of Papagayo.
FISHING TOUR
Costa Rica is a fisherman’s dream come true. Our waters of the Gulf of Papagayo offer easy access to three fishing styles: shore, kayak, and coast. Pacific ports and spas provide access to the best deep-sea fishing in the world. The Marlins and Sailfish are the main attractions of the country, apart from the rooster and many others.

Surrounded by dry tropical forest and dazzling topography, the Gulf of Papagayo is the perfect place for water lovers. From world-class surfing to Roca Bruja to swimming, diving, snorkeling or kayaking. The waters and pristine beaches offer this unique experience of the coast of the resort. The hotel has two kayaks available for rent for our guests.
PATHS
Because our peninsula of Vista Bay and Playa Panama create such a protected point, we decided to create our unique access to “La Playita”, off the trails leading to Playa Panama; both beaches are less than 10 minutes from our lobby. These trails have been built or planned by the complex because of the diversity of flora and fauna that each offers.
GROUND VISITS
Costa Rica has a lot to offer and much of it is in the Guanacaste area. Some suggestions we have about local tours range from hiking to Rincon de la Vieja volcano to hot springs; until the descent and observation of one of the rarest habitats in the world: the Palo Verde National Park.
